WASHINGTON - The Gallaudet University women's soccer team shut out Trinity Washington University, 4-0, here Thursday afternoon in a non-conference game.
Sophomore midfielder/forward Hannah Neild (Litchfield, N.H.) scored a hat trick to lead the Gallaudet offense. Neild scored the game's first three goals, two were unassisted. The final Gallaudet goal came from senior defender Deltona Markel (Buda, Texas).
Senior goalie Silvya Levesque (Ballston Spa, N.Y.) made two saves in goal.
Gallaudet improves to 4-9-1 this season while Trinity drops to 1-13-1.
