LATHAM N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) announced its conference student-athlete of the week awards for the week of Jan. 6 and Gallaudet University junior guard Kendall Hudson (Blissfield, Mich.) was selected as the NEAC Women's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week.

Hudson was Gallaudet's leading scorer in a 76-64 non-conference win at Bryn Athyn College back on Dec. 16, 2019. In 35 minutes, the junior guard tallied 20 points on 6 of 15 shooting and went 8-for-8 from the charity stripe. Hudson added eight rebounds, two assists and two steals. The 20 points were a season-high for the Michigan native.

This is Gallaudet's second NEAC Women's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week honor this season and Hudson's second career NEAC award.

Gallaudet (2-6) will travel to Southern Virginia University (11-2) on Tuesday, Jan. 7, at 3 p.m.
