WASHINGTON - The Gallaudet University women's volleyball team hosted a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) crossover here Saturday at the Field House and picked up two wins as the Bison defeated Cazenovia College and Keuka College in straight sets.
Gallaudet (13-13, 8-1 NEAC) dominated Cazenovia (0-18, 0-8 NEAC) sweeping the Wildcats 25-9, 25-7, 25-7. Junior outside hitter Darriyan Thomas (Vallejo, Calif.) led the Bison on defense with 14 digs and seven kills while freshman middle hitter Adele Daniels (Frederick, Md.) added 11 kills and seven digs. Junior setter Jasmine Jeter had 28 assists and seven service aces for the Bison. For the third time this season, the Bison had 20 or more service aces as they served up 20 against the Wildcats.
GU returned to the court, a hour later, to face Keuka College. The Bison carried the momentum from the first match into the second and won 25-16, 25-23 and 25-20. Thomas threw down 17 kills and 12 digs for a double-double to go with two block assists and one service ace. Jeter passed out 31 assists and dialed up six service aces. Daniels added 11 kills and eight digs in the win.
In two other NEAC matches, Wells dispatched Wilson in straight sets while Cazenovia picked up its win of the season against winless Wilson with a 3-0 shutout.

- Jeter recorded 59 assists in both matches
- Thomas was credited with 24 kills in six sets
- Freshman Camryn Skari (Federal Way, Wash.) made two block solos and one block assist against Keuka
- Sophomore libero Raelyn Fuechtmann (South St. Paul) added 11 digs
The second day of the NEAC Crossover concludes tomorrow (Sunday, Oct. 16) with two matches. Keuka will take on Wilson College at 10 a.m. while the Bison host Wells College at noon.
