Gallaudet splits NEAC double-dual meet at Cazenovia

CAZENOVIA, N.Y. – The Gallaudet University women's swimming and diving program split its North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) double-dual meet Saturday at Cazenovia College. The Bison defeated SUNY Cobleskill 164-74, but they fell 218-55 to the host Wildcats.

Sophomore Jackie Perkins (Hampton, Va.) and junior Jana Kiefer (Leander, Texas) posted the highest individual finishes for Gallaudet (3-5), as both placed second with Perkins doing so twice. Perkins took second in the 100-yard breaststroke with a new personal record time of 1:15.70. She later collected a second-place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke, notching a time of 2:57.79. Kiefer held her own in the 200-yard butterfly, recording a time of 3:06.69 for second.
