Bison endure a 10-0 loss against Hood

WASHINGTON, DC--On an unseasonably hot October Saturday, the Buff and Blue faced off against Hood College in search of their first win.

The Blazers had different things in mind as six of their players scored goals, with Jessica Parrish completing a hat trick, resulting in the 10-0 win.

Gallaudet's Katie Romano and Virginia Keeler could not find seams in the Blazer defense as they fought hard to get goals in. The pair fired off six shots. Keeler had 15 saves in the first half as goalie, and then Melissa Montgomery backed up in the second half, enabling Keeler to take the open field and try to avert a shutout.

The Bison have a road trip to Villa Julie College in continuing conference play on Tuesday, October 9. The first pass goes at 4:30 p.m.
