Sea Gulls defeat Bison, 96-41
WASHINGTON, D.C.—The Bison took on visiting Salisbury
University Sea Gulls in conference play. The Sea Gulls came out on
top, 96-41.
Sea Gull Monica Merkel led the visitors with 23 points, while
Marissa Manzo had a game-high 16 rebounds. Carolyn Weis followed
suit with another game-high, 11 assists.
Nukeitra Hayes, who is at #6 in the CAC scoring rankings had a
team-high 14 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Kari Olney netted 9, with
Brittainy Payne posting 8. Priscilla Biskupiak had 7 assists to
lead the Bison.
The Buff and Blue (1-10, 0-6 CAC) take on St. Mary’s College
on January 16. Tip time is set for 8:00 p.m. at the Field House.
