Bison Track & Field participate in Battleground Relays at Mary Washington

Gallaudet participated in the annual Battleground Relays meet
hosted at the University of Mary Washington. While the meet was
unscored, the Buff and Blue saw several of its student-athletes
turn out solid performances.
For the men, senior Onye Davis was the top collegiate finisher in
the discus with a throw of 43.05 meters. He also placed third in
the shot put. Sophomore Anthony Baskin sped towards a second place
finish in the 110-meter hurdles.
The men also participated in the 100-meter dash, 1500-meter run,
400-meter hurdles, 4x100-meter relay, long, high and triple jumps,
as well as the javelin throw.
The women also turned out with some top-tier finishes. Sophomore
Megan Frowick placed fourth in the discus; junior Kari Olney
finished in the top five of the 3000-meter steeplechase and the
3000-meter run.
The Bison compete next in the Messiah Invitational on April
11-12.
