Sarah (G-'82) has been at Gallaudet for 25 years, including a stint at the Model Secondary school for the Deaf in 1983. She is married to fellow Gallaudet alumni Craig Doleac ('76) and they have a 10-year old daughter (Rebecca). Coach Doleac graduated with a degree in Physical Education, and is currently an Associate Professor in the P.E. department as well as Assistant Director of the Personal Discovery Program in Gallaudet's P.E./Recreation department.
Over her tenure at Gallaudet, Coach Doleac has amassed 200+
wins for Bison Softball; she was also a student-athlete in
college.She played four years of softball and field
hockey, as well as one year of basketball and tennis. Doleac also
earned Dean's List honors six times as a student-athlete and
received Kappa Delta Pi honors and Phi Alpha Pi honors at the
university. She began her coaching career while earning her
master's degree in Deaf Education from McDaniel College. Doleac
earned honors as the Woman of the Year from the Bisonettes' Club in
1993-94 and was named the Capital Athletic Conference's Coach of
the Year in 1993.
