Bison split season-ending doubleheader with Wilson

WASHINGTON,D.C.--Gallaudet took the first game, 2-1 on a
Kallie Williams last-chance RBI in the bottom of the 7th to secure
another home victory on Senior Day. Williams’ RBI brought
home Brittainy Payne from third as the game had been tied 1-1.
Williams also went 3-for-4 from the plate, with one run scored plus
the game-winning RBI.
The Bison dropped the next game, as Wilson took advantage of
scoring opportunities off streaky hits, capping the runs in a 10-1
win.
Leftfielder Stacy Jones, who closed out her career today, had a
strong outing, using her skills to snag five put-outs over two
games and committing only one error. Fellow senior Amanda Schahn
also wrapped up her career contributing two put-outs, two hits, and
one RBI .
The loss brings the Bison to 6-15 on the season.
