Men's Soccer Team Plays First Game on New Turf Field in Tough Battle With Wesley

The Men's soccer team played their first home game on the new turf field October 24, losing a hard fought game to Wesley College 3-0.  The score was 1-0 late in the game, before Wesley scored two goals in the final ten minutes for the final margin.

Gallaudet had several opportunities to score but could not get any shots pass Wesley goalkeeper Tom Mikulski.  Shots on goal for Gallaudet were attemped by sophomore midfielder Chad Evringham (Bergan, NY/Rochester School f/t Deaf), junior Le Toudjida Allara (Moundo, Chad/Lycee Lalande), junior Justin DiBiase (Fishers, IN/Rochester School f/t Deaf), and sophomore Zane Noschese (Pittsburgh, PA/Western Pennsylvania School f/t Deaf).

The loss sends the Bison to 0-8 on the season. After opening the season with 7 road games, the Bison play 7 of their next 8 games at home, starting September 28 at 5 pm vs. Columbia Union.
