Men's soccer drops conference opener to Wesley
Dover, DE--The Bison traveled to Wesley College seeking their first conference win of the season. Despite second half goals by Matt Bujak and freshman Justin Arrigo off a penalty kick, the Bison could not convert other scoring opportunities to edge the host team.
In a rare evening game, the Bison got an extra score when Bujak's free kick caromed off a Wesley header, producing an own-goal, completing the Bison scoring output at three goals in the 62nd minute. Goalkeeper John Crump had five saves, and the Bison put forward seven shots over the match.
The Buff and Blue take a break until the next conference match
at home against Marymount University on September 10. The first
kick is set for 4:00 p.m.
