WASHINGTON - The Gallaudet University football program was featured online Wednesday by The Atlantic in a lengthy story titled "America's Deaf Team Tackles Identity Politics."
The story was written by Matthew Davis, the founding director of the Alan Cheuse International Writers Center at George Mason University. Davis has been entrenched with the Bison football program for the past three seasons and will be covering the team, once more, in 2017. Davis is an Eric and Wendy Schmidt Fellow at New America, where he is working on a book about the Gallaudet football program and deaf identity.
