Bison baseball doubleheader postponed until Sunday, CNU game moved to Tuesday
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Gallaudet University baseball coach Curtis Pride recently announced the postponement of today's North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) doubleheader at Pennsylvania State University at Harrisburg because of rain. The two teams will make up the games on Sunday, April 17, at noon and 2:30 p.m. in Middletown, Pa.
In a separate schedule change, Gallaudet's upcoming game with No. 4 Christopher Newport University (31-4) on Monday, April 18, has been moved to Tuesday, April 19, due to a scheduling conflict with the USA South Athletic Conference tournament. The game will begin at 3 p.m. at Hoy Field.
Gallaudet (14-17, 5-3 NEAC West) will next host Pennsylvania State University at Abington (13-16, 7-1) on Saturday, April 16, in a conference doubleheader slated to begin at noon.
NOTE: In other Gallaudet baseball news, Coach Pride announced Monday the baseball program is seeking a graduate assistant to help the team next season. Complete details and information on how to apply can be found here: www.gallaudetathletics.com/insideathletics/employment/index.
