Washgington, DC.- The Bison fall to Capital Athletic Conference opponent Salisbury University 30-0 in the first of the three game set with the two teams this year. Salisbury wasted little time as they took a 10-0 lead after one and were up 19-0 after 3 innings. The Sea Gulls also had their pitchers rolling in the game as their starting pitcher, Dustin Herbert, pitched four hitless innings while striking out nine.
Brandon Weinberger and Kyle Kuschmider tallied Gallaudet's two hits as the Sea Gulls used 22 hits to score their 30 runs. Chester Kuschmider took the loss after he gave up 19 runs on 15 hits in three innings.
The Bison are back in action on Saturday as they host the Sea Gulls for a doubleheader. The first pitch is slated for noon.
