The Bison Fall 25-4 Versus Wesley College
Washington, DC.- The Bison (2-13-1, 0-11 CAC) fall to Wesley College today 25-4 in a Capital Athletic Conference matchup.
Under yet another cloudy sky, the Gallaudet University Bison
dropped what could have been yet another potential first CAC win 25
- 4 to Wesley College. However, unlike some of the earlier games
this game started off on a good note as starting pitcher John
Moore put up a 1-2-3 inning to open the game, and the
Bisons offense appeared to be cranking up with 4 runs in the early
innings. Then the wheels came off. Several errors in the middle
innings contributed to Wesley adding more runs on the scoreboard,
and Moore labored through the rest of his five inning stint in
trying to keep the damage low. Ultimately he would be lifted for
relief pitchers Jon Berscheit
and Brook
Fox, and several other starters followed him out of
the game as it was mercy-ruled in the 7th inning due to
the insurmountable nature of Wesley's lead.
The two teams will conclude the three game season series on
Saturday, March 28 with a double dip at Wesley College.
