Gallaudet Loses Doubleheader to Stevenson

Facing their first Capital Athletic opponent of the season, Gallaudet faced Stevenson Saturday, and made a great showing.  Featuring a vastly improved team, Gallaudet played both games close, before losing 10-1 and 13-6.

In the first game, lead-off hitter Zane Noschese was 2-4 and drive in the lone Bison run with two outs in the last inning. Jeremy Shepps was 1-2, and Ryan Hastings went 1-3, with the three players accounting for the four Bison hits. Hastings pitched 4.2 innings and John Moore, Jr. pitched the final 2.1. Kyle Kuschmider scored the lone Gallaudet run.

In the nightcap, Shepps lead Bison hitters going 3-4, with one run and one RBI.  Noschese was 2-4 again.  Shepps pitched one inning of relief, getting all three batters he faced out, including two on strike-outs.

Gallaudet, 3-4, will next play on Wednesday, March 4 at Hoy Field vs. Christendom College at 4:00 pm.
