Bison drop two at Villa Julie

STEVENSON, MD.--The Buff and Blue dropped a twinbill against the
Villa Julie Mustangs in 17-1, 15-1 decisions.
The Bison bats recorded a combined seven hits over both games.
Junior shortstop Adrian DeHoyos went
2-for-2 in the second game, while Kevin Alley went 1-for-3
and scored runs in both games to deny the Mustangs shutouts.
Gallaudet scored in the seventh inning of game one after Alley got
on base off a hit-by-pitch. After stealing second, Alley scored
when senior catcher Ryan Lentz singled.
Game two's score came in the fourth inning when Alley singled,
stole second and third bases. He crossed home plate off an Eric Smithson RBI
single.
Alley leads the Bison with a .333 average off 19 hits in 57
at-bats. He also carries a .955 fielding percentage with only three
errors in 19 games. His 13 runs scored also is a team-high. Ryan
Lentz is behind his teammate with nine. Zane Noschese and Warren Keller have
eight runs apiece.
The Bison (1-18, 0-15 CAC) have the week off until a matchup
against Valley Forge College on Sunday, April 5 at Hoy Field. The
first pitch goes at noon.
