Jon Vaughan begins his second year at Gallaudet University as the Head Athletic Trainer.  He is mainly responsible for preventing, recognizing, managing and rehabilitating injuries that result during practices and games.  

Jon is originally from South Boston, VA.  He graduated in 2004 from James Madison University, receiving a degree in Health Sciences with concentration in Athletic Training.  After graduation, Jon worked overseas in Prague, Czech Republic with a football team called the Prague Lions.  As an Athletic Trainer, he helped assist the team to winning the 2005 Czech Super Bowl.   Jon loves to travel to different countries and has made his life-long goal to visit as many as possible.

Before his arrival at Gallaudet, Jon worked as an Athletic Trainer at the Notre Dame Academy in Middleburg, VA.  After a short stint, he decided to take on the athletic training position at Gallaudet University.

He currently resides in Washington, DC.
